80 Food Bites

  • I was browsing the apps store on my kindle and came across one app for 80 bites. Count bites of 80 or less, ..I am going to do this. This sounds good on control food much better. I will not use the app, had a bad review on it for kindle users, so I will keep a food journal, pen and paper.

    Does anyone heard about this? or Tried this method?

    Sunday. I am going to tackle this and see if it works. Its about healing food addiction and this might help. I will get my notebook handy and begin my count food bites...I will share my efforts daily here and hoping others will join me.

    So far so good...I am eating slow and this is good for portion control!! I have 41 bites left...I can do this!!
  • Have 6 bites left!!! This is tough,but very interesting...I had pita w shrimp salad and coconut cake. Tonight will have 1 swt itallian sausage. hoping my scale in the morning agree.

  • Gave it up..It was time consuming and do not like to keep a food journal..Its was interesting concept..but to bad not much people success..only one..oh well.

    MFP (www.myfitnesspal.com) is a really easy way to journal - it's not by bite, but by meal. It's so easy because you can just search and load the information in. No pesky numbers and counting
  • Hi! I am actually the author of the Count Bites Not Calories blog.

    I count calories and bites and it makes it more flexible. I do use My Fitness Pal to track Bites and Calories.

    I am thinking of doing a blog post on this.
