Hi everybody!

Sunday afternoon here and thought I'd drop in so I won't be so far behind next time.

I think I'm going to make an early dinner today because breakfast was a sham. Honey got up, then me. We're both holding off eatting anything until the boys rise. #1 son gets up, pours himself a bowl of cereal. I'm like "ok, we were waiting for everyone to get up so I could make some breakfast". He tries to tell me it was
only a bowl of cereal like he NEEDS to have more to eat. NOT!!! The 'baby' doesn't get up for another hour. So much for Sunday morning breakfast together!
Michelle: I guess I'll put my two cents worth in on the potty training issue. #1 son just woke up one day when he was just two and began pooping in the potty. It took another couple of months to get peeing down pat. I was a bit frustrated thinking if he could do one, he could certainly do the other. Well, along about September, we made it about Santa Claus. You know, "Santa's coming soon and wouldn't he be surprised if we could tell him you go potty in the potty?" It worked, no big problem. They are soooo much smarter than we give them credit for!!! As for the VCR you might want to use that as a potty training reward. Never know what a little 'incentive' might do for the situation.
Sandy: You know how when you go into the cosmetics department to buy a lipstick, the lipsticks are all displayed neatly in these like plastic cubes that are divided into spaces for each color??? Well those cubes are all snapped onto/into the pegboard behind them. Most makeup is displayed in these whether it's powder or eyeshadow or whatever. Anyway, my project is to take all of the old 'cubes' off the wall, install new cubes, put all the merchandise back where it goes and then put up the inventory/UPC tags in the right places so the store personnel can reorder when the slots are empty. It is a HUGE project. I'm doing Almay in some stores, REVLON in some and BOTH in others. And I'm telling you, by the end of the day, I'm exhausted!!!!

How was the movie? I haven't seen it, but I heard the book was real good.
Terri: I'm sorry to hear about your uncle. It sounds like it was a blessing for him as it was for mine a couple of weeks ago. Hope your drive with your brother was safe and that you were able to 'catch up'. * Is the new filly an offspring of your first horse, or did you get a new one??? Either way, how cool. Can't wait to see pics.
Katrina: Boy, your daughter's play is just getting over with in time for her to leave for college. When does she start? * I was reading that there's a camp in NY someplace that has produced a number of actors. (well, I guess I shouldn't say 'produced', but several stars have spent some time at that camp is a better way to put it) Anyway, I guess there's a film coming out about the camp. Do you know what I'm talking about, or am I just babbling here?????
Pam: I don't know how I stand that long either!

But you're right about the hips spreading from sitting. If I could get rid of my a$$, I would be one happy camper! I was doing my 'bra job' on Wednesday and this older woman came up to me and said "you have the biggest hips I've ever seen". I said, "But I'm a nice person." She said, trying to get her foot out of her mouth, "no, you have such big hips and such a tiny waist. You should be a model." I'm like, yeah right! So she further goes on to say that I truly should model because the guys would say, "give me some of that booty." I wanted to smack the $hit out of her! Like I say, she was older and you'd think she would have had more common sense than to say things like this. The trouble is, there was no mallace in her face. I think she thought she was giving me a compliment. How sick is that??? Oh well.
JoeAnne: I'm glad that there is hope for some resolution in the youth group issue. * Try not to stress so much, you've got to keep up the exercise for yourself. It's so hard to concentrate on the things we need to do for ourselves when we're so busy helping out everyone else. Have you ever noticed how most heavy people are really 'giving' people??? I have. And I think it's because we're always putting everything and everybody before our own needs.
Justme: Sorry to hear about your tif with the DB. Hope you can work it all out. [[[hugs]]]
Mary: Sorry your life sounds like it's in a slump too. Gotta keep focussed! * How's your son's phneumonia? Hope he's feeling better. * Are they interviewing employees for that job at the library yet? Hope you're going to get some relief soon.
Andria: I'm not sure there is a "TMI line" on this thread!

I'm sorry that that is how things are at your house. Ya see, my honey could complain of the same thing. He's almost always going to bed before me. I stay up on the computer, mostly finishing up paperwork that I could have done earlier in the evening. Our 'big and tastys' are few and far between. He gave up begging long ago. A friend of mine told me years ago that it seems like the place where most 'opposites attract' is in the bedroom, meaning of all of our couple friends, one of the partners was always more interested than the other. Funny how that is. Anyway, I hope that you can get it worked out. I've been working on it for 27 years and nothing's resolved.

Boy, that sounded pretty pathetic, didn't it??? Sorry.
2cute: It sounds like after this week you and your daughter need to have some fun. Enjoy your day!
Well girls, it's 3:00 and I think I'm going to go put some dinner on. I bought some bi-color corn at the market yesterday. It looked real good. And I'm thinking maybe chicken breasts on the grill. I did get some of that stuffing mix and zucchini for that casserole so maybe I'll do that too with some baked potatoes. Dang! I'm making myself hungry.
Hope you all have a great day. I'm off tomorrow doing 'bank jobs' and post offices. Not as exhausting!

I'll see you later.
