A week with no loss is not a long time to fret over. Six weeks maybe but not one.

I just see so many dropping so fast. Maybe cause I have only 15 to loose which I suspect is a lot of water. I havent eatten healthy in years. Back at it today. Trying to stick to eatting 3 meals and two snacks. Suspect Im just over eatting thinking I need to really do the protien fat thing. Im an over thinker and planner by trade.

While it is frustrating & disappointing, a week without a loss is not a "stall". Dr. Atkins himself said 4 weeks without a loss of pounds or inches would be considered a stall.
You are correct, the less you have to lose, the slower it will come off. But, think of it this way, you didn't put it on overnight and its not going to come off overnight. Slow & steady wins the race!
My suggestion would be to read the book and be sure you are doing everything correctly by the letter. It is essential for being successful on this plan.
All the best to you!!

Butterfly.... Hang in there! It will happen. Are you tracking your food? If you can. write down what you are eating and we can see if there is something not working for you. Maybe too salty of a food? Just thinking here.. But I also know that if you had been dieting for awhile and are just getting close to your goal weight... you don't lose as fast... I also (after doing this for over a year and almost a half sometimes have weeks of no loss and then WOOSH).. Sometimes our bodies play games... but please post your food here and we can see if there is a tweak needed! Just keep going forward and know you are doing it right!

Thinking Im in major need of variety. Got the book...I was about 10 over on my heavy whipping cream. Im sick of butter. Sick of salad. Gonna investigate more stuff. Maybe an induction dessert. I am back down to almost where I was on day 4. Im on 9 now. Not to be gross but I dont mensturate anymore but go thru the motions. Parts of me were tender. Hoping it was water weight gain. Im trucking on. Tonite is recipe night. Looking up variety will go to store then. I am makimg a huge burger tonite with cheese, lettuce, tom, onion and mustard. No bun. Im drooling. Sick of chicken. Slap me that burger on the grill!!!! Thanks all.

Heavy whipping cream got me the first time around also, its confusing because some places say you can have things other than the list in the book but I have been advised to only listen to the book as it is from him and not revised by others :-) you can do this, enjoy that burger sounds amazing!!! p.s. spaghetti squash makes awesome noodle replacement for some Italian dishes :-)

Good For YOU! Butterflygal! I know patience is a 4 letter word.. But this plan is worth it! Maybe now the weight will come off alittle easier for awhile and then a slowdown (happens to just about all of us) and then lose more again... Cycle Cycle Cycle!
