Hi all,
I just had my wedding ceremony about 2 weeks ago. I maintained a certain weight to look good in the dress since it was my mom's and I didn't want to alter it. Now that that is over I can continue my weight loss journey. I some how gained 3 pounds and can barely fit in my jeans I refuse to buy bigger ones but I'm happy I don't fit back into my size 14's. In a perfect world I'd like to be a size 6 again in reality I'd like to be a size 10 and stay there for more than 6 months as my weight always seems to be gained back. My goal is to accomplish this in time for the Zombie Crawl in October so I have a bigger range of costumes and by the Polar Plunge in January I'd like to be able to walk out there in my bikini without feeling ashamed. The first time I did the polar plunge in January 2012 I was 180 pounds and barely fitting into size 16 work pants. I vowed I would never be in that position again and I've been happy to be in my size 12 jeans since then. I'd really like to feel better in clothes and be stronger in my core, legs, arms etc so I'd like to start up again but this time I will need some help.
I need motivation to eat right and do right by my body I'm getting to the point where I can't expect to keep eating junk and function. I want to take care of myself and treat my body well and feel energized again. I over the years stuck to some food changes. No white processed bread, only veggies and seafood etc but lately I've been overdoing the fried cheese on a stick routine. I hope that with your guidance I can overcome these challenges and get back to a much healthier and slimmer me.
