Default Here we go again... Ughhh

Hi all- I was hoping to never be in this situation again. I almost reached my goal weight last August and here it is a year later and I have gained 20 back instead of losing ten more! How frustrating! I have tried many things including weight watchers, detoxes, south beach, etc... Weight watchers was great when I went to the meetings. I tried doing it online and found the discipline wasn't there. I need the support. So here I am. I have never been on this website,so I want to give it a try. I am 5'3, 150 lbs. my biggest weight last year was 165 and my lowest was 131. As you can see, I fell off the wagon and am on a fast track to regain it all back. It has been nothing but a roller coaster the past year. I have to stop this downward spiral! I need buddies and motivation!!!!!!!

Hi Tina!

You can do it! Most people, if not all, gain some weight back. I know I have regained 10 lbs recently, I got to a point where I put my foot down then I lost the weight I regained. But that wasn't the first time I regained some weight. There were times during my journey that I just took a break for various reasons. Weight loss is a journey we travel, and sometimes we get off the train and off track. But, we always get back on again. There is definitely motivation on this board. Many threads you can join to give you motivation, for example, like this thread called "Goodbye to the 150s" http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/weig...dbye-150s.html

There are also daily weigh in threads which are very motivational, as you are being accountable. There is definitely tons of support on this forum. Kinda like weight watchers meetings, but this is free and available 24/7

You lost weight before and you can do it again! Welcome to the boards!

Hi Tina, we are in a similar weight situation. (your a inch taller then me) I am currently at 145. (Thank goodness cause it's be slow getting to the five pound mark.) I count calories and use myfitnesspal to keep track. I love this site for the support it offers. We are so lucky that so many posters on here have so much experience. They give great advice and awesome encouragement. There seems to be a thread for any question you might have. If not just make one and you will surely get some good advice. Good luck on your journey.
