I'm a yo-yo dieter myself, and I'm hoping this time is the time it sticks =) I've had many times where I've wanted to binge, and I wish I could explain why
One thing I'm doing differently is trying to make it so I don't deny myself anything that I really want. But, I do test myself first....I ask myself if I really do want it. I ask if it's worth the points (I'm currently doing weight watchers), and if I don't want to use those points for anything else that day. If I decide I must have it, I will only take a small portion and savor that small bit. I've found it to be more effective than cutting out everything I love because I feel less inclined to cheat and binge when I know I can still have what I want. And sometimes it's just having that small bit of flavor that curbs the cravings.
