Welcome to the newest segment of 10 Days In The Life Boat.
Remember this is not a "challenge" but a place for accountability to ourselves and support from our fellow rowers. So, what is your plan for this 10 day segment?
Grab an oar and join us doing our best to stay dry.
1) Eat within calories (1,500 per day, unless I go run 8+ miles, then 1,800)
2) Drink 8/8oz glasses
3) When I want to binge, get on-line! I only have 13 days til my surgery. Now is NOT the time for a pity party! It is a time for celebration! I have done my job of losing the weight. Now I just need to MAINTAIN until I heal from surgery. Then will be the time to decide what my next step is. Maintenance is easy. All it is is doing exactly what I've been doing! (I know that is WAY over simplified, but I need a pep talk this morning!)
HI I am new, sorta.. I started Wednesday 5/22 for the very first time(and last) a diet with a Dr. that specialize in obese patients. It a very low calorie.
So the goal is to literal just take each day. Not to worry about tomorrow, but just today.
judy, here is the duct tape. I am super glued and then duct taped for extra security. I had pizza for dinner last night but only ate one square of crust. I am calling it OP. Scales are still up.
Goals:
Make smart choices the 3x I will be eating out for dinner this week.
Keep up on my healthy lunches even though summer semester is beginning and I'll be tempted to grab food after school. If I must, it must be healthy (from Panera or somewhere equal)
Gym 4 days, Zumba at home the others.
Work up to 10 minutes of Zumba.
Gym must be for at least 25 minutes.
1. Eat within my WW points
2. One day out of the 10, eat at the lowest WW point level
3. Get all my water in every day
4. Exercise at least 20 minutes every day, more most days.
My reasoning for #2 is that I want to get used to eating the way I'll need to eat when I get closer to goal, eating like a skinnier me will need to eat for maintenance. I figure if I do this once for each of our 10 day segments, maybe I'll be less challenged each time WW reduces my points.
I did horrible this weekend. I think part is due to depression, I knew I would miss my daughter but this past week has been really hard.
Back at it today...I am super glued in my seat! Duct taped to the back and bottom of the seat...I can do this!!!
Did well Saturday, minus the alcohol and got some of my exercise in! Sunday I was under calories but not healthily. So far today I have exercised for 10 agonizing Zumba minutes, and ate a healthy well balanced lunch and a relatively light breakfast (bagel with light cream cheese and a medium iced latte with splenda). I plan on exercising for at least another 4-5 minutes in a bit.
