Default Sports Bras.... HELPP MEEE!!!!

I had no idea where to put this, so I assumed that this would probably be the best place. I have been experiencing issues with sports bras. I run every other day...on the couch to 5k program... and on days I don't run I go walking. I am fine with the sports bras I go walking in. The sports bras I go running in HURT! I am not a busty girl. I am a "B" cup. I am over weight... obviously. When I run even with two sports bras on I feel like my boobs are being ripped off or smacked on concrete. Some of the bras I have tried hurt the back of my neck cause they would rub up that way and some hurt around the band even though they weren't tight and they did fit. I have tried all types of impact bras and it seems like none work. I have a few I can deal with but ultimately I am miserable. If you could offer any advice or types of bras I need to be looking for that would be great.

I highly recommend this sports bra. I have 2 in black at the 40 DDD size and I dont move an inch. I used to wear 2 bras as well. They also last almost forever. Last summer (before I put 70 pounds back on) I ran a half marathon and did a 3 month training program for it. The bras really hold up.

Enell is a good brand. Pretty expensive though. I am a DD cup it doesn't hurt at all when I run with this bra on.

I like Enell. I look on Ebay for the ones that have band size flaws....there are some where the band size is 1 to 1.25 inches smaller than the factory size...and the sizing actually works perfectly for my measurements. Those ones with imperfections are $39.99 rather than $66.00....xpensive, but I can run and jump, so that is good

I'll have to look into that - I'm a DD too (although I was able to get into a D the other day - go weight loss/smaller boobs).

I have the same thing - I would love to run more, but it physically hurts.

UGG! The great bra issue!

I'm a DD, have been for years and years.

Forget the "HYPE" of a sports bra. There is no law that says if you do not workout in a sports bra we will take away your birthday!

Go out, shop, try on, order online return or whatever you have to do, but find bras you like that are comfy, supportive, fit right!

I recently scored the most awesome bra from the Kohls website. Racer back, front hook, under wire! Love it! I had to send the first one back, did not fit, but, reordered 2! Love them!

I have an enell that is so "supportive" that it feels like its strangling the life our of me I need to lose some weight in the chesticles for it to fit.

Until then I've been wearing this: http://vip.zappos.com/shock-absorber...fcTest=fcl%3A0

It works, holds the ladies in, they don't whack me in the eye when I'm jumping. Can't wait to be able to breath in the Enell tough...considering the expense of buying it.

Default bras

I feel your pain. I am so disgusted with trying to find a bra that fits and doesn't hurt or cause allergic reactions or drive me crazy. I have tried every bra on the market I think.

There are two types of sports bras--compression (this is what you typically think about when you think of sports bras, where your breasts are pressed together and back against your chest) and encapsulation. Encapsulation bras have a separate "pocket" that each breast fits in comfortably but firmly, so your breasts are held in a more natural position and the center gore (middle part between the cups) of the bra sits flat against your breastbone. When you are larger chested (over D-cup or over 38 band size), try looking for encapsulation bras. I know as of a couple of years ago, Champion made a pretty good one for maybe $30 (at Macy's).
