Question Ideal Protein Dieter, Day 9 first weigh in

Hi everyone - I just started IP last week, and my first weigh in today I lost 11 pounds. Very happy and know its first week water weight as well.

Finding foods I liked was hard, but I'm in a groove now

Last week with the puddings that I didn't like, I was doing two meals and veggie snacking on cucumbers and celery in between...and not eating the desert pudding they give you that first week.

This week, I ordered bars which taste very good. What I'm wondering is if I won't lose the weight at the same pace because the bars are more calories. Should I stick to no restricted foods? Or a "sweet" that isn't a bar?

Working hard at this and don't want to screw it up!

Welcome! Glad to have you join us. I don't know anything about the plan you are on and about your questions, but I want to be the first to congratulate you on the big 11 lb loss. It doesn't matter if it's water or what, it is a loss! A great start, I say.

Welcome! You know, a lot of people experience a surge of weight loss for the first week or two after the start their new lifestyle. If you don't experience weight loss at the same rate, it's probably not the yummy tasting bars' fault! Just keep working hard, and you will see results.

Please go to the IP section, lots of info there and how you are doing it is not how it was designed. For instance there are tons of recipes for using the puddings and you should never go below the number of meals outlined on the protocol sheets. The bars are restricted to one per day.
You will find the IP section very valuable in your continuing success after your great loos.

Thanks so much ladies!! Patns: I thought chick peas were forbidden? I saw a recipie for phase one on here using them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They are my favorite.

Those bars are to die for ... that raspberry one is like dark chocolate.
