Default Binge eating this past week

Hi guys,
This is the first time that I've posted in any forum whatsoever. It's just reached the stage where I'm not sure what else to do. My weight would be considered healthy however I don't feel full of energy like I used to. I don't really have friends and there's not really people that I am comfortable speaking to about this considering that I'm in the healthy weight range that I wouldn't want to seem conceided. I'm currently working at this place which I'm not enjoying, living with parents who argue often and well basically no other way of sharing my experience without adding stress on others. I've been finding that lately I've been eating easily 5000 calories daily to the point where I'm making myself sick. Not vomiting lol. Tried calorie restriction it's just when it goes over it's like may as well give up. This post is quite depressing and I'm sure things will get better so that's why I've decided to post. To keep preoccupied with things other than bingeing. Thanks for the replies. Enjoy your day.

Welcome to the forum. Writing down how you feel whether it's in a forum or a journal can be a great way to aleviate some of that pressure you are feeling. In a journal you're having a conversation with yourself, while here on a forum you're having conversations with other people who are going through similar.

If you find that there's not a lot of happy stuff going on in your life maybe it's time to try something new. Sign up for a zumba class, spend some time doing yoga, anything that will allow you to channel some positive energy! We have to be kind to ourselves and spend the time necessary to make ourselves feel joy! Good luck!

Default Thanks very much.

Thank you for those thoughtful words. It definitely seems like there has to be some changes made so I'm going to do some sort of sport to get started back on track. Thanks very much. Hopefully you are going well with your journey.

I can relate.

I don't have friends, and I am a few pounds over healthy weight range but I was within that range for the longest time while binging. When I was really heavy, I never binged. I think my obsession with eating only the healthiest foods is what set me off.
