  • I'm trying to think of mini-goal rewards for myself. I already have my goal reward figured out, but I'm trying to think of non-food rewards to treat myself with along the way.

Do you have any rewards planned out, or are you just going to see what tickles your fancy when you hit a mini-goal?
  • I'm getting a pedicure at 199, which hopefully will be right around April 15th (if not sooner!). I picked out the color already too, Dutch Tulips from OPI. They better still make it, it's my favorite. Haven't had a professional pedicure in about 2 years as I was too embarrassed to go. And now I can finally reach my own toes!

That will be the time that spring should be almost in full effect and I will be showing off my toes in all my cute sandals I finally fit into comfortably (I already tried every single pair twice!).
  • Mani/pedi. Shoes. Massage. Make up. Nail polish. Clothes.

All things to celebrate my body.
  • Thanks for the ideas!

Elvislover, if you love the color that much purchasing could be one of your rewards, too. Then you could wear it whenever you like!
  • I do a pandora-style charm bracelet and pick a bead/charm for every ten pounds I lose. Here's a photo:

Each charm has a special meaning to me, and getting to pick out the next one is a huge motivation. I also love wearing it as a reminder of how far I've come.

I've gone into more detail about it in this thread.

  • As i there is itself a reward to me !!
i will reard it in my own style !!
  • I thought of a good food-based reward that I might do: joining a CSA. I've thought about joining one but since I live by myself i'm afraid I wouldn't be able to use all the fruits and vegetables. But it might be a nice reward to try it.

Love your bracelet, especially that cute little owl with the amber eyes. (I collect owls.)

  • I also do a bracelet and mani/pedis, massages, ect.
    And fancy bath salts.
  • I think for my 20 lbs mini goal (hopefully happens this week!) I am going to buy some new workout gear and shoes!
  • I love all the ideas...I might have to work a spa day in for one of my rewards!

    surfergirl2, what is a CSA?

CSA stands for community supported agriculture. Typically it will be a local farm that grows produce, and you can subscribe, and then every week or two weeks, you get a box of fresh, local grown, usually organic produce. What you get differs every week, which i think can be fun. I think it's a great way to get locally grown, fresh produce, but i'm afraid i wouldn't be able to use it all myself.

What a great concept! I'm kind of in the same boat as you. I'm not huge into fruit, and my boyfriend refuses to eat vegetables. Depending on how much they send I'd be afraid that they'd go bad before I could finish them all.

Do you have a like-minded friend that you can split the share with? That's what I do...
