
I too will turn 30 in a few days, calorie count and eat soup (usually everyday for lunch). I usually eat 1250 calories (I've had maybe 3 days of 1500-2000 calories this last month) and find that the weight is coming off fast

I figure once I get a little bit more off then maybe I'll decrease my exercise or skip the soup and eat something a little more calorie laden.
I don't really have any advice as to how our bodies will respond to this since I'm at the beginning of my journey too, but figure I'll roll with the punches (some days it is SO HARD to eat anything more than 1250 calories!) but figure if I want to eat more I will, plus this gives me great incentive to keep going.
