Hi, new here as well. Still figuring things out but I decided not to go on a diet per se . . but eat much healther and count calories and carbs, I'm learning Fitness Pal now. I gave up soda, and replaced it with water, and that helped me to lose the first five pounds. I'm not giving up this time, and so glad to have found this site as well. Good Luck!!!

Soda and only use Splenda in my coffee/tea the little things help! I lack motivation....I'm always tired and never want to do anything
Welcome! Good luck on your weight loss journey. I'm new on here too but like lifesigns I'm just counting calories and carbs and have stopped having sugar in my tea and coffee! I've found myfitnesspal to really help so far.
