Endo pain+pain meds=weight gain?
Ok, I'll try to be brief, as I do tend to ramble on. A little over 3 yrs ago I lost 40lbs. YEAH! In 2002, began to have severe pelvic pain. Went to ob/gym who supected endo. Went thru 3 months of bc pills and pain meds as needed. Result gain 10lbs. After 3 months had a dx lap done. Endo was found and scar tissue removed. Doctor burned as much endo as he could but was left with endo on my bladder. Doctor I see doesn't want to touch the bladder he believes it to be too risky. Started lupron shots 1 month after lap. Evil evil evil!! Becasue of the lupron the pain was worse than ever. Result 3 shots and a total of over 7 months on pain meds, and a total of 32 of the 40 that was lost found. Ended up having a hyst. GOOD!!! Endo came back due to lupron shots cause ovary to fuse into the colon. BAD Much pain many pain meds! Getting close to 3 months post hyst and have been having lovely endo flair ups. My question is there anyone else out there that has went thru this and had or not had the same results? I am looking not to gain anymore weight. Since the surgery I have lost a total of 14 and I am wanting to loose at least 30 more.
