Did anyone see Discovery Health's, "I lost it!" today? I almost turned it off because there was a woman that was on Jenny Craig that prepared each meal seperately from her familiy and it made me roll my eyes.
But the second woman was a woman named Pam whose husband had a brain tumor and she started on BFL and is now a weight lifter. It sure sounded like the infamous Pam that I heard some of you make reference to.
Anyway, I've been "off" for about two weeks now and feeling like I was going to give up but this sure got my butt in gear.
Laura's mostly right- generally I could use the main protein ingredient for the rest of the family, but not the "meal". No one else was interested in 3 oz of chicken, 2 cups of brocolli, a tablespoon of salsa, all dumped on a plate of romaine lettuce. Also, the timing is bad for family dinners. However, that being said, it does work short term and it's how I'm eating again.
