Angry Stuck at 138 lbs

For weeks now, I can't get below 138 lbs. I'm not even near my goal and I'm so frustrated...I haven't hit a plateau yet so for those of you who have, what did you do to break through? I've thought about eating at maintenance for awhile and then lowering cals again.

exactly.
this happened to me 3 weeks ago and I've been stuck between 137 and 140 all this time even with my calorie counting and regular exercise.
Finally this morning I weighed myself and it said 136.5 lbs. but that is the first time and I am not buying it yet. I figured I was dehydrated today.
FYI, for the last 3 weeks, with PMS and the TOM going on, I ate like a maintenance person would. Ate more calories with cravings, I just hung in there and tried not to go up more than a lb. or so... here and there. after doing that for a few weeks, I think my body finally decided to let go.. we'll see. I have to weigh myself in a few days just to make sure that I actually lost the weight.

I'm so with you on the low 140s/upper 130's stall! I've been around 143 give or take a pound for what feels like ages now. Much like masterptr, I've just been trying to eat maintenance or slightly below and hoping to see a scale "whoosh" sometime soon. Good luck!

Do you guys give yourself a total cheat day? When I notice that my weight doesn't change, I cheat, like all out only for 1 day though! Then i see the scale go up the next day and I exercise and it usually kicks my body back into gear...

On a side note, I cannot WAIT until I am in the 140's like you guys lol

All I would say is don't do what I did...allow this to get to you. I got frustrated when I seemed to hit a plateau and gradually gave up and now I am back at a higher weight than when I started. I've only been lurking here to try to get the motivation to get started again. I saw your post and just wanted to encourage you to keep going regardless of what the scale is saying.

You've done amazing to get this far!!
