Default What Digital Camera do you have?

I am very impressed with the quality of your pic's and was wondering what make and model of digi camera you use (if any)
The "before" pic of me was an original photo that i scanned but the other 2 "after" pics were taken with a cheapo Yahoo Digital and are'nt very good. I have a Camcorder that i can take pics with but i'm having a few probs getting the program to work so i might treat myself to a new Digital..any recommendations

I've got a Fuji MX-1700. I don't think they make that particular model any more, but I can certainly recommend the make. Most people I know have Fuji digital cameras & are very happy with them. I find that mine (like most digital cameras, in my experience) takes much clearer pictures in natural light - if you look back at the earlier ones of me taken outdoors, they're clearer than the one I took of Helen, for example, but it's only a 1.5 mega pixel camera, & it's now possible to get ones of a much higher resolution quite cheaply. Also, mine is nice & compact & therefore handy to slip in your bag - I think some of them are quite big.

Hope that helps.

We have a PRAKTICA SK450 focus free. Ray bought it a couple of weeks ago and I haven't had a chance to play with it yet. It was reasonable cheap and is about the size of a normal camera.

Has a video link feed which we tested with my brother yesterday -him on his PC 4 miles away us in the cupboard in our livingroom - scary stuff

I've used everything from a webcam type with no flash etc, up too a camera that cost 6k!!
It's all about what your needs are, go and speak to someone in a "proper" camera shop, tell them that you are not there to buy but to see what your options are (leave your credit card at home!!) they should be able to guide you through a series of questions as to what the best camera to suit your needs and budget is.
I'm using a Nikon coolpix (around £150) and it's great, covers everything i need to do!
