Default PB2...I love it!

I don't think I'll ever go back to regular peanut butter again. The calorie savings are enormous for a huge serving. I mixed 1/4 cup of it with about 3 tb. of water. Holy cow! That made a lot! And for a fraction of the calories you get in peanut butter. I am hooked.

I have been wondering how this tastes. Seems like the reviews are a love/hate type of taste, though more good then bad.

Yes, people seem to either love or hate this. I suppose if you want it to taste exactly like peanut butter you'll be disappointed because it's not as rich. But I feel it's just as good.

I'm learning that in order to lose my weight I MUST eat differently and with that goes acquiring different tastes. The rich, fat-laden food that got me fat is quickly becoming a thing of my past. I need to find food alternatives or else I'll just stay fat.

No, there is a product called PB2 which is defatted peanut powder. You add water to it to make a peanut butter. Some folks also add it to shakes, recipes, etc. for a peanut flavor. It's real peanuts, only defatted and milled into a powder. I'm really enjoying it. I got mine from amazon.com.

Hi,

I have used PB2 for years, there is also a chocolate one, yum! You can order directly from the company, but must buy 4 minumun, but it's never a problem for me and I can easily give one to a friend, but it has a decent shelf life. www.bellplantation.com

I think amazon is cheaper.

I love PB2 also. I mix it with regular peanut butter in my protein shakes...I like them tasting only of peanut butter! PB2 lets me get that taste without going crazy on the calories.

That is so neat! I really like peanut butter but avoid it for the most part because it has so many calories. I thought about almond butter but I thought it might be about the same as pb. Thanks for sharing the link. I have never heard of it but I might order some.

I never thought of mixing it with regular PB in shakes. Great idea. Thanks!

I've never tried PB2 since it was so expensive, but I've had wonderful success with peanut flour after adding water, salt, and stevia. Oh my goodness. Delicious.
