Just tried a similar product today (my health food store didn't have PB2) Wow...sticker shock! If I continue with this I will have to order it online.

Consistency: Very much like the real thing. I mixed 4T with some water to get the amount I needed for my sandwich.

Taste: On its own not too bad. Nutty, a little grainy, sweeter than I am used to, but very mild. Therein lies the problem for me. When I put it on my sandwich it disappeared. I could taste bread and jelly but since it is not very strong it got lost.

Overall, its a very good product and awesome for the taste/calorie ratio. I will continue to experiment. I like the idea of mixing it with a bit real peanut butter.

I was worried it wouldn't fill me up as much as the real stuff, but so far I haven't noticed a difference.

I grind fresh PB at my local health food store. I've been tempted by PB2, but I always *try* to stick with real food. So I just eat less of it and eat it less often. My absolute favorite snack is a whole grain cracker, sliced apple, and tbs of peanut butter. mmmmmmmmm

I love it. When I have the calories to spare, then I'll go back to regular PB for the healthy fats, but for now, PB2 is where it's at. I think it's like the skim milk factor. If you go straight from whole milk to skim you will hate it, but if you reduce in increments (whole to 2% to skim). I'm used to the taste and texture of reduced fat PB so maybe the step to PB2 just wasn't that huge?
