Default Olympics!!!

Has anyone else been watching? Do you have any events that you must see? I've had a terrible time tearing myself away from it this time, watching events I've never watched before.

I've been of course rooting on the USA team, but I hear the background stories of some of these other athletes and see others setting world records and I can't help being extremely excited for them as well. The only thing I'm not crazy about is some of the post-event interviews. Interviewing the athletes who everyone thought would win but didn't are just uncomfortable interviews to watch.

I've been watching them! I love seeing the looks on the athletes' faces after a successful event. Their smiles are contagious.

I love watching the gymnastics events. They make it look soooo easy. I did watch beach volleyball though and got really into it with my boyfriend when Australia and USA were playing.

My favorite is women's gymnastics. Always wanted to be a gymnast when I was a kid but my parents couldn't afford lessons. I love watching it though, which sort of stinks because it's never on TV.

Diving, swimming and track and field are also good.

Ive been avidly following them...Im rooting for Canada of course, but have been quite displeased so far in the turn out. Its only been today that we have gotten onto the podium in synchro diving...a bronze medel...I was watching gymnastics..and 2 canadians took a fall on the beam which cost them dearly..Dont know that we will make it past the pre-lims .... I am very impressed with the US team..they are my second fave to watch...Still a bit miffed that China beat us out at syncro swimming...grr...they have enough medels already...cant they let us have a few to ourselves??? Lol All in the name of good sportsmanship hey?

I will be keeping up with diving, gymnastics and rowing...

I've never been one to follow the Summer Olympics, I much prefer the winter games/sports.

Love the Olympics! I root for Australia, so I particularly love the swimming. I also watched some featherweight women's weight lifting last night. Those women are incredible--doing clean & jerks with twice their body weight!

I've been watching. I am a huge fan of the women's gymnastics, but this year I am also excite to see Orozco and Leyva for the men's. They have such great back stories, so I am definitely rooting for them to do well
