Default Board etiquette question :)

Hi all!

I've been on a lot of message boards. When I want to learn something new or need support, I find a forum. I even belong to a forum all about e-mail. lol So, I'm pretty good with forum etiquette. However, there is something about which I need advice.

I usually try to comment with support and congrats to as many people in a thread as possible, especially those threads to which I subscribe. When revisiting a long, several page subscribed thread (like a July challenge), what is a good number of posts to go back for commenting. A page, two pages? What is good etiquette in this situation?

Thanks!
