Talking Ready To Lose This Weight!

Hello Everyone!

I'm Toy and I am here looking for support while on my weight loss journey. This site has MANY great reputations out in the WWW; so I decided to try here instead of the norm Facebook and Youtube.

For the past 3 years I have struggled to lose 30 pounds. I am currently 176.5 and would like to get back to 140. I suspected it was the use of Birth Control since that's when my weight spiraled and also realized that my eating habits changed as well.

I am the "yo-yo" person when it comes to weight loss. I start, im motivated, and then I weigh in and somehow the scale doesn't budge or it moves UP instead of down and im back to muching on a entire bag of Oreos in disgust.

It doesn't help that I don't have friends in my everyday life. I pretty much work, attend school, hang out with my guy, and then sleep. And do it all over again.

I have the knowledge of eating correctly....So I think. But I don't always use it. I have been a Vegetarian for 8 years and everything I consume sends to increase my insulin levels and my fat. Its a huge battle and it just so confusing.

Everyone here seems sweet and supportive. Hopefully I can learn some things from everyone while here and take the time to find patience in my journey.

Blessings.

Hi Toy!

I know how you feel when you do 'everything right' and don't seem to see results. But instead of getting discouraged, try and think of how it'll feel once that scale DOES move. How you'll feel when your clothes get baggy. The energy you'll get from eating right.

It's more mental than anything, I think. Once you get it into your head that you're serious about this, doing it for the last time, making changes simply because YOU want to...everything sort of clicks.

And yeah, you know it's hard. But it's worth it.
