Default Weighing Beverages?

Naked Juice is only available in big size containers, but I only want to drink small, individual bottles per day so I can accurately measure my caloric intake. I want to know if I can just weigh it? Like if I only want to drink 8oz of it, can I weigh it? Sorry if this is a silly question, but I'm not exactly sure if we can weigh beverages the same way we can weigh food.

Sure you can if the nutritional information is in oz. or grams on the bottle. I don't know where you live but I do know that at Starbucks in Montreal, Naked juices are sold in individual bottles although I'm not sure if that would cost much more. Maybe you could buy a few bottles with the information already on them and re-fill them to make counting easier.

You don't need to weigh, you can just use a measuring cup. Ounces are different for liquid & dry weight.

Yeah, but that's the problem. I live in the US, and I don't recall ever seeing the individual bottles being sold around here. Just the big containers. But thanks, that's actually a great idea. Maybe I can just buy with the 8oz water bottles on Amazon instead of weighing it. Gosh, I can't believe I didn't think of that before. Lol! This is what lack of thinking and impulse do to you.

No, you can't measure 8 oz of juice. That's referring to 8 fluid ounces, which is a cup. 8 oz weighed (as in one half pound) would be different.

Your solution of finding a bottle with a known volume would work, as would getting a bottle with markings on the outside, then filling it to 8 oz (or however much you wanted).
