I've been reading this board for a while. It usually answered any question I had.
I am a past user of Ideal Protein and loved every second of it. It felt good.
Unfortunately, it got to the point where I couldn't afford to continue. I was very close to Phase 2 and kept asking to go into Phase 2 early to see if the cost of IP in Phase 2 worked better. I was probably 15% away from my ideal weight.
I'm a nearly single woman who is doing this all on my own, without spousal support - which may come with time. Until then, I need alternatives to IP. What can I do? I focus on eating four cups of vegetables a day, drinking my water, and trying to have a sensible breakfast. Think Atkins type breakfast, and protein (chicken, fish) with two cups of vegetables. It's the in between that's getting to me.
As well, the job has been stressful (entire department) and it's tough to be faithful. So, again, I lean towards Atkins type menu for snacks.
