Default Found THE BEST new snack.

So I'm in sort of a hybrid between phase 1 in phase two, which is basically phase one with the addition of all fruit jam, and corn and rice occasionally. I had been craving a chip of some sort, and I know how I get with potato and corn chips - I plan to eat ten and instead I eat the entire bag. That being said I was in the grocery yesterday and I saw this kind of chips I had read about somewhere, apparently they're popular with celebrities. Anyway, they're called Beanitos, and they're chips made out of beans. I know that doesn't sound that good, but trust me, I got a bag of the cheddar cheese ones and it tasted like a nacho. It was so yummy. Not only that, they're a low glycemic index food, packed with fiber and protein, but best of all, they taste good. They are perfect for a SBD girl like me. ...that being said, 4 weeks, 14.5 pounds! I love this diet.

I like the sound of these! I've given up chips except for an occasional toritilla chip or two. Still want to go lightly, but these might be a good alternative.

If you can find them, give them a try! ...the other upside is because of all the protein and fiber, they're filling. Don't give up on chips just yet!

They also make lentil chips (not sure how they compare nutritionally), but I found them quite tasty. So did my teen - he eats them up as soon as they come in the house!

Those Beanito chips are really good. Our Wegman's has them, and also the lentil chips and a humus chip, too. I only buy them on occasion, as I could easily eat the entire bag when they're in the house.
