Smile Weight Watcher Dieter

Hi everyone,

I am new to the site, after doing lowcarb for year and losing 80 pounds about 5 years ago - I had gained about 65 back. I decided to go in a whole new direction after the new year and joined weight watchers online. Since January 5th I have lost 15 pounds and am excited to be back on a plan. Some days I am torn between doing lowcarb again and doing WW but I payed for 3 months upfront so will do WW at least through March 5. What I miss most about lowcarb are the wonderful forums where everyone is so supportive. Although WW has a message board it seems dull in comparison to others I have been on.
So I'm looking for support, camaraderie and new ideas and hopefully I can give the same back to others.

Welcome! I'm not a WW but I do notice that they have some great threads. Many of our threads are full of people who are doing different things, so jump right on and you'll be right at home.

Welcome to 3FC!

It might surprise you to find that there are quite a group of Weight Watchers members (online, at home and meetings goers) who frequent the 3FC boards.

There's a whole section dedicated to WW under Diet Central here!

I have the monthly pass, and I regularly use the eTools to track my food, exercise and GHG. But, I must confess something. I rarely use the WW online community. I have to agree with you. It's... lacking.

Thank goodness that I found 3FC, because this forum and these members have more than made up for that.

I love the WW plan. It's healthy and balanced. I loved meetings when I was able to go, but I always wanted a way to connect with others on my own time. 3FC has been brilliant for that. Not only can I chat with other WW members and get ideas and motivation from them, but the whole site is filled with people who are aiming to do healthy things. It's truly an inspiring environment.

I hope you stick around on your journey! And come by the WW area if you'd like to chat with others on the program

Best of wishes~
