I'm a 30-something girl from Seattle and kept coming across this site when searching out diet/fitness plans. So, after years of eating a really poor diet, and seeing pictures of myself (and thinking 'am I really that fat?!?!') I decided to get my butt in gear.
I don't have a ton of weight to lose, 20 pounds-I'd be elated if I lose 30.
Looking forward to getting some really good tips and lots of support!
Alki, welcome, glad to have you join us. I suggest you look for a Challenge or Support group to join; small check-in groups make it easier to connect, get involved, and be accountable. We have groups centering around specific diets, themes, or age groups, find one that inspires you and just post to join!

oh thanks for the tips Penguin! Right now, I'm going thru the forums and there is so much to read...I can't help but feel a little lost!
