Default brand new chick @ 51

Here it goes -- one more try -- been there done that -- not my first rodeo - lost 50 gained 70 -- worked out 2 hours a day in my thirties -- soon has I stopped high maintenance anything diets or exercise I gained the weight back -- This time it's got to be a life change -- a slow one --

I've cut out alcohol two years ago - fast food and sugar 1 year ago -- cigarettes 3 months ago - lost 25 pounds - got rid of my scale so just found out the other day - will use the scale at the gym but no tape measure's -- no treadmills -- happy with low weights, swimming, walking -- and sunlight -- 10 minutes of walking a couple times a day with no agenda or heart rate monitor.

Organic, no wheat, try PureFoods for a few months then back to my own cooking. No kids at home anymore so that will make it easy. In fact there is no reason i can't do this -- Right then!

Heathappy, welcome, glad to have you join us. Congratulations on quitting drinking, smoking and your improved diet, good job on sticking with these changes to improve you heath. I suggest you look for a Challenge or Support group to join; small check-in groups make it easier to connect, get involved, and be accountable. We have groups centering around specific diets, themes, or age groups, find one that inspires you and just post to join! Be sure to check out the 50+ support group!
