Inspired by one of the success stories... had to join!
I am 43 years old and need to lose about 35 lbs. I've been on many different diets and struggle with staying on any of them. I was inspired by Glory87's story about her weight loss and my hubby and I decided to give her eating plan a try. So far, I've struggled with the no sugar (even honey) and am finding sugar in everything - even our soy milk and vanilla! I do a lot of home cooking and have kids at home so am still letting them have some sugar, but trying to do it in raw honey form. Whenever I start on plans like this one I get really focused on what I can't have anymore, versus what I can have. I'm hoping to get some ideas and inspiration on this site from others who have done this.

Christy, welcome, glad to have you join us. I suggest you look for a Challenge or Support group to join; small check-in groups make it easier to connect, get involved, and be accountable. We have groups centering arouns specific diets, themes, or age groups, find one that inspires you and just post to join! Be sure to check out the 40-Somethings.
