Smile Hello from CA

Hi -

I am new to dieting although it has been a long time coming. I should have started years ago.

I am 27, married, no kids. I am starting the diet to go program as I really really need to learn portion control and eating multiple smaller meals rather than one or two large ones.

I would greatly appreciate any hints, tips, advice and words of wisdom.

Im from CA too lol....

hmmm there are so many tips but some that i hold on to is
Take one moment at a time
Start slow and set doable goals so that you don't get overwhelmed
I like moderation bc if I eliminate I binge and worst
Find something you like in terms of exercise and make it enjoyable
Most importantly, forgive yourself there will be easy and hard days and in between....the key is to keep going...

I'm from Ca , too. The right diet for you is the one you will follow. I found, for me after trying many diets that Calorie Counting is best for me. It is OK to experiment a little until you find what suits you. No matter what plan you choose, plan ahead and follow your plan, I keep a food diary , takes me about 5 minutes to plan my menus for the day. it is not as tedius as it sounds.
Welcome to 3FC and good luck !
