Here we are again, starting another part to the Positive Uplifting Notification thread. Well Ladies here it is..........PART SEVENTEEN........
Today, I am Happy once again, to give birth to Part SEVENTEEN of the One Positive thing about me today is.......................
It is time for new beginnings so let's get the party started!!!!!!
For all the newcomer's to this thread Let me tell a little about what we are all about. I thought this was a really cool way to reshape the way we think about things, ourselves, and just plain long stuff, you know the kind that happens in a lifetime, stuff that might throw you a curve ball. Well guess what, there is always a brighter side and that is what we look for, staying on the POSITIVE SIDE. To build our self esteem and to let us know, yes we can, instead of no we can't.
It does not matter if your Positive is big or small, about your weight or not, ANYTHING POSITIVE COUNTS. WE ARE HERE TO SUPPORT YOU, ENCOURAGE YOU, TO INSPIRE YOU, TO HOLD EACH OTHER UP, AND TO HELP TOOT YOUR HORN. BELIEVE ME, YOU WILL BE SURPRISED AT HOW YOU POSTING YOUR POSITIVES WILL HELP YOU AND SO MANY OTHERS.
I encourage you, in your own time to sneak back and read the FIRST POSITIVE THREAD and even the SECOND and you will understand what a blessing this is. I hope it will in some ways touch your heart.
Now lets get THIS PARTY started and SHOW you how we roll. Jump in, sit back, take your shoes off and stay awhile, for here, we are family!!!!!!

Positive for me today, I am seeng (in kilos) the 1-teens for the first time in 7 years on my scale.........hooray for me!!!
I'll be celebrating my 5 month anniversary on plan on the 1st October, seems an age since I started, but then aagain it was just yesterday ,funny how that works. And in that time I just FEEL so much better, and time does fly past. SO those of you early in your journey, stick with it, the days will quickly turn to weeks, and you will see the rewards in the mirror smiling back at you!
Hello ladies!!! I just love this thread!!! Fall is definately here though and my arthritis is acting up in my knees and hips but the positive of today is I have off work today and tomorrow. My birthday was friday and we will be celebrating it on Sunday with alittle cake and ice cream. I am hoping that tomorrow WI shows a loss for the week because all I have been doing at work is walking back and forth up and down aisles.
Thank You Ags for starting a new PoSitIvE thread!!! Love it, makes me smile everyday. We got a really good rain last Thursday and it was SO NEEDED!!! Of course it was unexpected and in the middle of the night and I had my car windows down!!! Lol, I told my husband I would leave them down every night if it would continue to rain!!!
Lynnie - So glad you got the job, I know it is such a blessing for you!!! And I am sure it will help with your weightloss efforts to, so a double good there!!!!
As for me my official weigh in was up two pounds, back to 302 ... I am sure most of it is water weight, I have not been drinking my water like I should!!! Boo for me!!! But I am sure it will be off by my next weigh in!!! I found an elliptical on craigslist for $40!!!! So very excited. Its about 30minutes away, but my sister is taking her kiddos to the DR. on tuesday and said she would pick it up for me if the seller still has it!!! So I am so hoping she/he does!!! So glad that today is my Friday, and I am off tomorrow!!! Yippie!!! But lots of housework/yardwork to be done, but on a positive note our temps have been wonderful!!! Our highs have been high 80s/low 90s and it feels FaN-fReAkIn'-TaStIc!!!!
I was gone all day to a conference and stayed on plan the entire day! Even though there was a bountiful supply of cokes and chips and cookies.....I chose the salad with grilled chicken, and gave my home-made chocolate chip cookie away. For breakfast there were egg/sausage/cheese/biscuit sandwiches...I chose a banana and Nutri-Grain bar. I drank water and wasn't even tempted to drink a coke (which has been my addiction for the past 25 years).
So, I'm proud of me!
On the flip side...I started Plavix a month ago and noticed I've got several huge bruises on my legs. So I guess that lovely side effect is beginning.

Still raining here and will be until Tuesday, yesterday was like a monsoon and it was fine with me. I had a great day yesterday, today and I know it will be tomorrow too. Eating on target, so I am believing next WI will be a good one. Just itching to reach 50 pounds lost!!!

Is there anything you can do about the side effects? Will be praying for you about that.

Well I finally accomplished my 75 lb loss weight goal for my birthday. I am officially 299 lbs.... That makes me feel wonderful. We are having alittle cake and ice cream for my birthday today. YAY ME!!!!!
I know this is a positive thread. And this is not a positive thought. But I had to share.
The minister who married Mike and me 23 years ago is facing the worst grief a parent could. He and his wife allowed me to be part of their family for a few years while I was involved in the church's singles ministry. Spent many Sundays and holidays with them. Sweet people. 3 dear children.
Thursday, their youngest daughter's boyfriend was tragically killed in a car accident. Speeding motorcycle hit his SUV and flipped it. He died instantly.
Friday their daughter decided she could not endure the pain and ended her
life. She was only 25 years old.
I can only imagine the grief and sadness they are experiencing, and I am hurting so badly for them. Wishing I was still in Orlando so I could support them.
Please keep them in your prayers. These are some of God's finest servants.

Good Morning Ladies!!! I swear I have the worst crick I have ever had in my life right now!! Its no fun at all!!! Hoping for a quiet day today at work because I don't think I could handle more than that. I had to work overnight yesterday because someone called out, so my Sunday was spent sleeping in an oversized armchair and now I am in PAIN!!! Boo!!
Anywho ... today is a beautiful, sunshinny day!! I got to work on time, and baby got to school on time, and my car decided it would start this morning. If it is still being nice this afternoon I am gonna run to the store and get a few things. I have ran out of fruit and yogurt!! Boo!!

Made enough extra $ this weekend (Vending at an Autism Conference) to get a Wii and Wii Fit for my Living Room. I'm hoping it will motivate me to start exercising every day. It probably isn't as good as a gym, but it is something!

I am finally back. Computer is up and internet is up. I'm gonna read all I missed on #16, but please don't expected me to catch up on personals.

It's been a rough and somewhat depressing couple of weeks without a computer. But thank goodness I purchased the Apple Care Plan when I bought my computer. I still had 3 1/2 months left before it expired. They fixed my computer for free .
We managed to replace all 4 of our TV's for free due to the kindness of friends, family and co-workers. We actually ended up with an extra, but that's O.K. because now I have a TV in my computer room. Next thing I need is a kitchen and bathroom and I never have to leave. LOL!!!
All total we lost over $6000.00 worth of stuff, but we've only had to spend $1325.00 for a new pump on our well.
I'm done for now, but will check back in later. I missed everyone soooo much and can't wait to catch up on all that's been happening in your lives.
