Hi all!
This is my first post on this forum, and I'm really happy I found a supporting group. I think this will make it easier to stick with my diet an exercise plan. So here's a little about me...
I'm a junior at college and I used to do a lot of sports in high school (varsity co-ed wrestling, varsity women's water polo, and captain of the fencing club). In freshman year at college I did women's rugby but had to quit sophomore year due to an injury. At the time I was very muscular, and when I quit I had no other sport to go to, but I forgot to scale back my diet from the caloric demands of 9 practices a week.
I am 5' 9," and probably about 220 lbs. I haven't weighed myself since the beginning of school (I'll do it tomorrow! I promise! All the scales on campus are in out-of-the-way buildings!) Over the summer, I completed my first 5k (although I was an athlete I always sucked at running) and began counting calories and eating healthier. My goal weight is 165 lbs, and/or a healthy body fat percentage.
