It is raining here in Louisiana. What is it doing over the rest of the gang's world today?
I'm going walking at noon at the mall again. We had no electricity all night. I had to put on makeup in the dark and try to fluff up my hair with no electricity - that can be tricky. haha But thankfully the electricity came on right before left the house, just in time for me to figure out that I had on a brown ankle boot and a black ankle boot, and navy shell shirt with my black jeans, so I quickly put on the black shell and the other black boot so I think I match now. I might better check my makeup again and make sure I don't have mascara up my nose or something. ;-)

Nothing doing today, just snowing out a wee bit, nothing to get excited about. I just had my performance review here at work and did EXCELLENT !!! pheeeeeeeew. I mean I know my work is good but I always have that doubt...gee...self image problems ROFLMFAO !!
Today poor Gracie gets 4 shots at the doctor, poor kid, good thing Jim is taking her cause I'd faint.
Today I'm going to the caf to get a salad and a big one at that Tonight will be chicken of some sort, its just so hard to get the time to good good (meaning tasty). Guess thats why God made weekends

Yes cathy I do love Leslie Sansone tapes, there great, something for me that I can just start out doing, and then work up to something more intense, thanks for the pat on the back.
Here in cali we have a cool morning maybe about 60 degrees, the sun is shining, it'll probable warm up to about 70-72 later on, I hope we'll get a winter sometime, I suspose later on in Feb. we'll get some rain, although we don't ususlly get much in the high desert.

I have missed exercise for two days and did the tape today so I could read & post! Bravo for me!
Monday started out a litlte challenging.The
washer was running and leaked all over the floor............PLUS we had a frozen pipe in one of the bathrooms.............I was almost late to work but made in one minute before the meeting started!
Tuesday the operations manager from Chicago and my boss paid a visit to my morning meeting..............needless to say I was abit tense...........I changed clothes 3 times before leaving for work.She said very nice things about me and the center..........Whew.like Leens.glad that was over!She told my boss she wanted me to do more meetings................I said "No thanks.......4 is the perfect amount for me!" I think my boss was more nervous than I was.we are both glad it went well.It is the team effort.I have wonderful receptionist too!
Soooooooooooooooooo today I have a day to myself..........I think I will go look for some winter bargains at Dillards.havent shopped in a while but love picking up a few new bargains! (steals are what I like)

We are having a heat wave here, I think it's almost 20 degrees.

Cin...congrats on the accolades from your bosses, it's always nice to know you are doing a good job, no matter what type of work we do. By the way Cin, In case you were not aware of this, if you want to fix something that you typed after you send it, just go to the bottom right and click on "edit". You can fix anything, all though the mispelled word seemed to fit in there just right You didn't even have to tell anyone!!

Just a quick hello all. I am busy at work. We are getting estimates on our back door. A deleiver truck hit it last week so we have to get estimates for his company to pay for it. Man these people are exspensive.
Not to much else going on. We missed the rain that Cathy had this morning. But it is still cloudy.

Hey Cathy, did you walk at the mall today ? your so cool !! It would be nice if I had a walking buddy here (I know, no excuse) but it would still be nice, all the skinnies here want to do is go to good places to eat (well me to but !! ) ROFL.
Oh Leens - wish you were here - I would love walking with you during the lunch hour. I can't find anybody around here to commit to meeting me for the walk - so I just go by myself. Sometimes I wear my cd player with headphones and sometimes I don't - just whatever I feel like.
Hey - why don't you jump a plane to Louisiana and meet me at noon tomorrow ! hehe wouldn't that be a hoot!
Here I am. I have the flu. So far 6 pounds off since Monday. Too bad it won't stay off. The biggest hurdle has been to know which end to stick where and not miss my aim. And on top of all this it's TOM. Between the coughing, sneezing, diarhhea, hurling, etc it keeps me busy. I don't know whether to blow it, wipe it, plug it or what. I'm going back to bed.....
A headset for walking would be great, I had a magazine at one time that you could order tapes from, that is cassettes, they motivate you to do a walking warm up, aerobic walk, and a cool down.
I too hate walking alone, my mind starts to wonder and think up bad thoughts, Leslie Sansone and Susan Powters are great for your self esteem.
SweetPea- Hope you get well soon, I had some intestinal virus, my husband and I kept passing it back and forth, now my oldest daughter is home today from school w/it. It's brutal and takes awhile to leave the system entirely. Get lots and lots of sleep and lots of water. Take care.

oh yea, Leens and Cin- I understand your nervousness, I have had job interviews and was nervous, wow and then later on be, well whacha call that, like being judged? kinda scarry.
