I know how you feel! I did W1D2 on Saturday and it was awesome. I got up to week five last time (had to stop because I got pregnant), and it stayed pretty good - not so fast you feel like you're gonna die, not so slow you get bored and feel like you're not accomplishing anything.
Congrats on your great start! However, for me, I hated running when I started C25K and, to be honest, I still hate it now that I am on the last week of the program, but nothing else gives you that sense of accomplishment to KNOW that you can run 3 miles if you have to Keep going!
My fiance and I started C25k on Monday and completed W1D2 tonight. We are also loving it and hopefully we can stick to it! I was so afraid I wouldn't be able to do it, but I have been pleasantly surprised with myself
So glad this thread got started and hope it continues for all of us new to C25K. I am starting this on Saturday, and cannot wait! I have plans of a 5K in September, then hopefully a 10K or two in October. Now I just have to put it in motion and hope the motivation sticks!
I'm starting today myself!! I'm hoping to be in somewhat good enough shape t run in the Breast Cancer 5K. We shall see. Last time I was also up to week 5 ... so hopeful my body won't hate me as much the 2nd time around!!
W1D1 completed on Saturday! However, two things against me. First I lost my watch, so had to guess/count on my time and second, I went way to far before I turned around to come home. So I was actually gone about 45 minutes. Felt great though! Now I am battling really sore legs/shins. Supposed to do D2 tomorrow, sure hope I am better by then!
