Default Meal Planning - July 4 -10

Hi all,

I haven't seen a thread like this for a while so I thought I would start one up for the following week. I know the 4th of July can be a big diet/healthy lifestyle killer so maybe everyone can use this thread to record what they plan (and what they do, in case it differs) eat this week. It's not a holiday here but I'll join in anyway!

Feel free to jump in and post! Everyone's welcome!

Monday July 4
B: 50g Honey Oats & More cereal + smoothie with frozen berries, semi-skimmed milk, 1/2 tsp cocoa powder and agave nectar (372)
S: 25g mixed nuts with 10g goji berries (167)
L: Quinoa salad with feta and spinach (262) + kale chips (47)
S: Wholewheat pita with homemade hummus (215)
S: Small individual bottle white wine (153) - office boat party!
D: Tuna pasta bake with vegetables, tomato sauce, and tinned tuna (465)
1709 calories

Exercise: 75 mins Yoga, 60 mins walking

On holidays (just the days, not the weeks before and after), in the past, I've generally just eaten what I liked, refrained from overeating and taken extra exercise. It worked pretty well--sometimes it was enough to knock me off a nasty plateau!

However, considering that all those other holidays were in the midst of terrible crash diets and I've gained it all back, it might be time to try a different plan this time around.
