Default How long does it take for you to lose the TOM weight/bloat?

Hey all, I am on the last day of my period I think...its day 4 (my periods have always been light as I got older.) The week before-last Monday-Friday, I was doing really well, but my weight was not budging-at all! During my period, on the 2nd day, I increased 4 lbs, and now I am back down those 4 lbs as of last night. However, that means that for a week...my weight didn't go down even 1/2 a lb even though I pooed yesterday? I am hoping that it is because I started retaining water last week, hit a high and I am still losing that water weight. However, I read that the bloat goes away by the 2nd day of the period, which is depressing lol. So I'd like to know-when do you start packing on the period lbs and how long does it take for you to lose them? on the 2nd day of your TOM, end of it, or longer than that...? The longer the better haha jk Thanks! =)

For me, it's usually around day 3 or 4 after I've started my period. However, I've had months when nothing fit that pattern either due to workouts (they sometimes lead me to hold on to water for muscle repair) or due to some high sodium....or sometimes, the heat could make me retain water. Oh, and also stress! Or maybe I'm not losing weight and use water as a way to make me feel better?

I do not really bloat that much during TOM (which is happening right now...*sigh*), but I try to drink a lot of water to reduce water retention. I typically go up a pound or two and lose it by the third or fourth day.

ohhhh heat!! I couldn't sleep last night at all due to the heat even with the fan on! (have to set up that big AC ugh) I always figured the heat makes me sweat so I should be thinner, good to know it can cause me to seem heavier on the scale lol
