hey. im looking for some motivation! i say that i'm going to do really good. but by the end of the day i decide to not go to the gym or to zumba. my eating habits.. well i need some help! someone please be my buddy! i started at 147. im down to 135. my goal is to be 115. my high school weight. im 20 years old and 4'11"
Hey Tiffany, I'll be your buddy! We have really similar SW / GWs, and sounds like we have some similar problems with motivation to exercise and bad eating habits! I need some motivation too, I've been stuck at 145 for 4 weeks...
Sounds like we are very close to problems and weight! I am 22 and 5'0 I am currently 135 but want to get down to 110! I am actually doing Ideal protien alternatives, my fiance is buying there products but I think its cost to much. I lost 5lbs my first week! I still cant get myself to work out though...so I really need some motivation in that area!

Tiffany - I'm not sure how most people communicate. I think as newbies we're restricted from sharing e-mails and that kind of thing. With some of the other threads they just check in each day to keep in contact, does that sound good to you for starters? I'm about 5 hours ahead of you so we can catch up with each other when it's convenient
There is a wieght loss program called ip and they give you a list of food that you can and cant eat and then you also buy packaged shakes and bars and other food from them. It is a type of low carb However I dont like paying their prices and wish I could convince my finace the same but o well.. My daily food intake is a EAS low carb shake in the morning that I get from walmart, at lunch I eat unlimited amount of salad with a low carb dressing and 2 cups of non-startchy veggie with another eas shake. Dinner is lean protein (6-8oz) and more salad and veggies. Then I can eat either a snack before bed or between lunch and dinner and that I usually use a EAS bar or pure protien bar. Its been working really well for me and my fiance and there are lots of forums on here about it. The reason I like it is its super convient to grab a shake and go!
Hey there, I would love to join you all, and have similar weight loss goals. I am 5'4 and ~150 (148 to be exact) and am looking to get closer to 130. I am a yo yo-er (good one week and bad the next) and need some motivation to stay accountable.
i feel the same way about the yoyo part.. monday-thursday i go great. and then the wkend comes! i might try the diet you suggested bc right now im counting calories but i nver hardly meet my goal of 1200..
Oh I'm totally the same. I've been terrible this weekend, drinking and eating all the wrong foods - haven't worked out since Thursday either. I'm sure I'll get back on the wagon tomorrow and be really good for a couple of days but then be tempted by enjoying bbq and drinks again at the weekend (We have a national holiday so 3 day weekend, also my best friend is visiting from 350 miles away)
How do you guys cope with yo-yoing and staying motivated?
