HEY! i really want to lose weight but i am too lazy to do these exercise and diet. So i think i am really hopeless in losing weight as well as in love life..
but i maybe something might come and help me out..-.-
I lost all 90 lbs, every single pound of it the lazy way. I didn't work hard at all, in fact this is the least effort I've ever put into weight loss, ever.
To lose weight the lazy way, you do have to move more and eat less, you just don't have to move a lot more or eat a lot less. The only thing you have to be willing to do is commit to the changes even if you don't see any weight loss, and every month or so, add a little more movement and eat a little less food (reducing carbohydrates is especially helpful).
And there you go. Easy, effortless weight loss.
Only one down side, when you make small, lazy changes - you see small, slow results. If you can handle that, you're set.
Half-a**ed dieting isn't for everyone. It's not for perfectionists or bipolar perfectionists. I'm not talking about bipolar people who happen to be perfectionists, I'm talking about people who have only two modes - absolute perfection and absolutely screwing up.
It's not for impatient people who want to lose 30 lbs in a month. If you're really lazy, you might not even lose 2 lbs a month (when I started, I didn't).
You might not even lose anything at all at first (in which case you've got to make another small, lazy change when you're ready - a week after your first change or six months).
So there you are. Easy, lazy, no-effort weight loss. It may take me 10 years to get all my weight off, but I don't think so. The great thing about lazy weight loss, is once the weight does start coming off, the laziness starts to evaporate. Partly because less fat often means more energy, and partly because success (even slow, small success) becomes exciting and energizing. The more results you see from your changes, the more changes you want to make.
Ya know. Before I started eating better and shedding a couple pounds, I too was fat and lazy. Okay. I'm still fat and lazy. You don't have to rush into a million different changes to take some weight off. A couple small changes can definitely add up.
Changing your diet doesn't have to mean eating nothing but raw foods and never having things you truly desire. And exercising doesn't have to mean pumping iron for two hours a day at the gym.
Changing your diet can be as simple as sticking with water for a week instead of sugar drinks. Exercising can be as simple as taking a five minute stroll around your neighborhood.
They aren't big things, but added together and as you build on them, they do make a difference.
The previous posters are right. You don't need to suddenly change your total lifestyle.
But you do have to eat less and move more. How much of that you do will determine your weight loss.
That said, anything worth doing takes effort. You can't stay in your comfortable rut of over-eating and sitting around, or you will continue to be overweight. Only YOU can affect "your calories-in, energy expended" balance.
Every successful loser here on this site had to change their pattern of eating and moving, and to lose weight, you will too. It takes determination and an eyes-on-the-goal attitude. But the pay-offs are so worth it!
I'm very much care free in my weight loss only recently it's become a pain in the *** to me. I added more veggies and fruit into my diet but I still enjoy my white bread, rice and pasta. Things work differently for everyone. I'll work out drop some weight and be stuck at the same weight, I'll stop working out and drop another 10 pounds. Begin working out again drop some more weight not a lot but a little bit and be stuck again, stop working out and boom drop more weight. It seems to be a repeated cycle. I try to eat less but I don't count calories, I estimate what I'm eating and just as I say add more water fruits and veggies into the mix.
Things work differently for everyone your definitely going to need to experiment throughout this journey to find out what works for you and what doesn't. It's not easy losing weight, but it's not easy begining fat and looking disgusting either. IMO, thats what keeps me going most days is the fact I don't want to look like that. I don't want the disgusting double chin, I don't want the fat belly that bounces when I walk, I don't want to shop in the plus size departments and wear ugly clothing because I can't fit into something cute and trust me most bigger girl clothing may be the same style it just doesn't look as good (on me). Some people can pull off weight seriously some girls are honestly big and beautiful and look amazing with weight and the curves but I for one do not, it makes me look unproportion. Like I seriously wish with my weight on I could look the way Christina Aguilera can or Jessica simpson but I don't haha
You need to figure out why you are doing this and really want to do the change. If you don't you won't succeed. It's like anything in life you have to want it and work at to get it. So figure out WHY you are doing this, and WHY you want to be healthy and so on.
Actually losing weight ist mostly about reducing what you eat. So be lazy and don't eat as much as you do now. Voila!
I did that in 2002 for 6 months and lost more than 44 lbs. No exercising, nothing. It works.
Also, you will see that you have more energy when you lost the first few pounds (5-10% of your weight).
However, I think it is better to really put effort into it and develop a regular workout that you will follow. I feel better now than 9 years ago, I lose faster and I am convinced I can keep it off when I am fitter too.
