Default 4 pounds from goal...help!

Here's the deal. I'm 5'8 and at my heaviest weighed 193+. As of tonight I'm 168.The top range goal for my height is 164. I set my goal there so I can do the 6 weeks maintenance and be a lifetime member. I'm a little dismayed because I know I have to be no more than 2 lbs under 164 for all those 6 weeks. How on earth do I do that? I have every intention of losing more after I hit lifetime, but really want to stop the monthly dues as soon as possible. I've heard they have really cracked down on people continuing to lose during the 6 week maintenance. It is such a foreign concept to try to only maintain a weight and not lose more. I'm having a hard time wrapping my brain around it. Any suggestions?

Definitely still have rewards for yourself. Based not on weight (of course), but on your daily activities.

And check out the Maintainers section as they might be better able to explain the mental transition.

You can still lose after the maintenance period. Just during that time, you have that weight restriction. I set my lifetime goal 6 lbs below the top for my weight range. That way I have wiggle room and will still be normal by BMI standards.
