Hi everyone, nice to meet you.

I've tried every diet under the sun, lost and gained about a thousand pounds I'm sure, but I've finally made the decision to make this the one time I'll succeed and keep it off. I've grown a lot (and not just sideways) over the years and understand that this weight loss thing is going to take time and commitment, not just crash diets or schemes.
My plan is pretty simple: Eat less, more often. Walk 5 days a week, starting small with 15-20 mins and working my way up to longer and faster. Not jumping on the scale every time I happen to be naked. And understanding that food is fuel, not an eat til you feel like barfing buffet.
I have about 80 pounds to lose and I'm going to take day by day, or hour by hour if I have to. But I'm worth it...and so is that size 6 dress that's calling my name.
