Default Broke through my plateau finally!

I'm so excited I'm practically dancing! I have been stuck at 212 for about two months now. Now only after about a week of lowering my calories to 1200 a day and watching my carbs/starches I have lost .8 pounds. I am now 211.2! And I want to also say a big fat Booyah to my former WW leader who was rude about my new plan when he was trying to get me to spend MORE money and come back to WW. He actually told me that "I would never last at doing lower carb since those plans are not sustainable and that I would be back." He seemed to think low-carb meant NO carbs which is not what I am doing! I tried explaining to him my medical issues such as my PCOS and IR and he just didn't get it. So finally I just told him I was following what my doctor's recommendations were to get him off my back about coming back to the meetings. I could not have done this without the information I found on here from you ladies and other places online!

Umm....what a rude WW coach!! You're better off without him if he doesn't even know how PCOS or IR works. Congrats on breaking through the plateau. I know how great it feels!

Congratulations! It sounds like it's better that you're not with him as your leader anyway if he doesn't know PCOS or IR.

Thank you guys! I was eating a healthy diet plan before but was still eating all the WRONG things due to my insulin resistance and PCOS. I seem to respond better to a higher protein diet and lesser carbs. I'm very excited. I woke up today again at 211.2. I was almost afraid it was a fluke the first day but it's not!
