Hello from Central MA

  • Hi, all...

I'm Lisa, living in the Worcester, MA area. I just recently joined Weight Watchers, and though I have access to their eTools and message boards, I really don't like the way they're set up. So, after seeking out other forums, I happened upon this one!

I had gastric bypass surgery 7 years ago, and I gained back about half my weight. Last year was an insanely busy year - we bought a house, moved, and got a dog; I changed jobs, bought a new car, and graduated college; and we got married and went on a honeymoon. Phew! This year is much calmer and quieter... I also turn 40 this year, and I have slacked too long on getting healthy. Since I don't have all those other distractions in my life, I can focus on me. I'm lucky, because my DH is also trying to eat healthy and lose a few pounds. It definitely helps not having to do it alone!

So, I just wanted to say hi...

I'm still partially in denial about the turning 40 thing... :-P Please don't be offended if I don't join you until after Septmber! LOL!
