Default Help! Having a Cold and working out

I need advice on how to get rid of a cold and how to get back into working out without pushing myself too much.

I got a bad cold during Super bowl weekend. I took off from Feb. 3-Feb. 9th. I took a whole day off work last week and just slept, so by this past Thursday I was feeling better. That night I did some easy yoga. Friday I took a short walk to the shoppette on base, maybe a mile and I still felt okay. I took yesterday off, but we were running errands all day and cleaning the house. Then last night and this morning my cough has come back and I feel like the sickness is coming back. I want to get back into working out, but I need to get over this cold first! I thought by doing easy workouts that I would still get over the cold, but it seems it brought it back

Any tips on how to get over a cold and get back to the gym without bringing it back?

feel better soon! all i can offer is the generic advice: keep your hands washed, blow your nose often (but not too hard), drink plenty of liquids (hot liquids if your throat is bothering you), a dab of menthol under the nose to open up nasal passage, gargle, take some acetomeniphen (sp?), or ibuprofen to help relieve the aches and pains, theraflu or cough meds, keep your throat moistened (lozenges, mints), try to not take in too much cold air through your mouth.
