Default Hi everyone, reading your message has inspired me to get started.

new to posting, so bear with me. I must find a plan that will work for me and somthing I can stay on without feeling deprived. I lost 45 lbs 2 years ago, on a very low carb diet, but I missed bread, and other carbs so much, I could not stick with it. I am going to try this belly fat diet, sound like it may work for

Hi and Welcome!

It is very important to find a diet that works for you. You could try a calorie counting diet, that allows you to eat what you want, but in moderation.

Welcome!

I suggest looking at something that will basically work for life- if cutting out carbs doesn't work maybe look into reducing them like with South Beach diet. OR counting calories works well for many people.

It is OK to experiment until you find something that you can do.

Smile Welcome HungryLady

Welcome HungryLady!

I have tried many diets myself. I followed the South Beach Diet for close to two years and found it relatively easy to follow. However, if you miss carbs you might find that a little daunting. I am currently counting calories, 80/20 healthy eating (20 meaning I eat some of my old favorites sometimes) and exercising.

Again, , and glad to have you here!

noticed on the Jorge Cruise Belly Fat diet, you can have a few carbs, whole wheat bread once in a while, and a few veg. I going to start with that. I am having a real problem with always being hungry. I am diabetic, so I hoping this way of eating may help control my blood sugar. I starting today, so far this morning I am on track, Thanks for all the encouragement, I know I can't do it alone.

have you tried legumes? they have some carbs, but they don't spike the blood sugar because of the fiber, i think. beans/lentils keep me full longer than anything.
