Thumbs up A Word of Thanks!

First I just want to say Congrats to each and everyone of you!! The goals you are hitting keeps me motivated to stay on plan and keep it up!! Thank you!!

This was the end of my first month, and I happy to say that I lost 14 pounds and 11.5 inches!! I knew right away by my boobs, but when I went to try on a pair of pants, and I saw the label, I knew they wouldn't fit ... but up they slid and buttoned with ease! Couldn't believe it!! I was shocked!!

I've totally turned into an exercise freak, and feel completely lousy when I don't put in at least 30 minutes ... and you can tell by my mood!! So now, I'll just keep plugging away while working on my new bod!! I've completed W2D2 today (C25K) and actually love every minute of it!!

I'm even shocked at how much healthier I'm eating and how much fuller I'm staying! Plus, its spread to my family!! I love making this change not just for me, but for everyone!!

So YAY! for all of us to completing January!! Here's to another great month ahead of us!!

Congrats! Do you have a 5K race that you are aiming to complete? I am on week 3 day 2 of the C25K program. I can't say that I am loving every minute of it though! LOL It is hard for me. I started and stalled on it about three years ago. Got up to running a mile or so, then one day on my WALK up to the track to run, I twisted my knee on a crack in the sidewalk. It has hurt off an on ever since, but so far no knee pain. There is a race on March 12th, that I really want to run. I keep telling myself if I can do this, I can do anything. It is something I have wanted to do for a long time, so I am hoping to succeed.

thanks everyone once again for your words of encouragement!! It's always such a positive place to come too!!

Aimeebell ... I have a few in mind, but the closest one to run is in May/June ... not 100% sure. The other one is the Breast Cancer 5K in October. Today I'm going to be doing W2D3 and I"m not going for speed, more just trying to build up my stamina and endurance ... I plan on doing it a 2nd time around so I can then work up my speed. I figured I don't want to push it too much now since this is all new to my body! Unfortunately my mind is in the healthy place and my body just needs to to catch up!!

I'm sorry to hear about your knee, and I hope that you are able to continue with your race. Don't push it and risk further injury if you can't do it right now ... there will be others. I know, not what we want to do ... but we have to listen to our bodies b/c we need them to continue working for us!!

Hope everyone is staying warm on the eat coast!!
