Default Can you really eat as much fat as you want?

I am very new to low carbs.

As I asked, can you really eat as much fat as you want? Bacon has no carbs, but is loaded with fat. Could I eat a pound of it and still lose weight? Could you eat 5,000 calories of protein and fat a day and still lose weight? Just wondering. I doubt I could even stomach that.

I must admit, though, I did discover that fat is not as yummy without a carb accompanying it.

I'm trying to figure what 5,000 calories of meat would look like. Probably 10 pounds of steak You can eat until you are full at each meal on low carbs and keep the calories down around 1,200 to 1,400 a day. Remember this: sugar has no fat. You could eat 5 pounds of sugar and have no fat. Would you gain weight?
