Default How many glasses of water do you drink in one day?

I am averaging like 16... At times I think I am going overboard, but I definitely notice if I don't drink as much water I don't lose as much. Does anyone else experience this?

That's a lot of water!! I'm no doctor, but there is such a thing as too much water. I probably drink about 6 or so. If I drink more than 8 or so, I have to pee all the time.

I have a 56 ounce bottle at my work desk and I drink about 4-5 of those in a 9 hour day. Yep I drink a lot. I asked my dr. about "too much" water a few months ago and she said that what I am drinking is fine.

I drink about 6-8 glasses of regular water a day and then several other glasses of diet soda or crystal lite etc but I make sure I get water in, especially on the days I workout, last friday I was so parched after my 30 day shred workout that I drank 6 glasses of water right after! So some days are higher than others for sure

My goal is to drink one gallon per day. I average 2 to 3 liters per day, in addition to anything else I drink during the day. Advantages: I feel that it helps my weight loss efforts, seems to have alleviated muscle cramps, and helps flush out excess toxins. Disadvantages: I spend a lot of time in the bathroom and most nights, I have to get up at night to go. I know that I should try to get in all of my water before 6 p.m., and I do try, but it is not always easy to do so. Even with the disadvantage, and it is huge, I feel and look better when I drink a lot of water.

I think that people have problems when they drink a lot of water in a very brief period of time, not when it is spread out over the course of a day.

I have a 24 oz water bottle with me at all times. I fill it up about 4 times a day while I'm at work, and when I work out I drink 1-2 of them afterwards.

Its a lot of water, and I pee a lot, but if I don't drink it I can definately tell a difference.
