Default Enough is enough!

I have been overweight since I was a teenager. I have tried dieting before, but never stuck to it. Now, I am at the point where I just can't put up with being overweight anymore.

I started my lifestyle change 5 days ago, and have already lost 5.5 pounds. These past few days, I have averaged a loss of 0.5 pounds a day. I am by no means starving myself or anything, I have just adjusted my diet and completely wiped out sodas, junk food, and fast food (This loss is only so great now because I have shocked my system, going from a 3000+ calorie diet a day to about 1500-2000).

Next week, I plan to start walking. I am also going to be picking up 'Slim in 6', and work my way up to being able to do P90X (that will be months for now, as P90X is a bit too intense for me, for now).

My starting weight was 293, and as of today I am at 287.5.

I am determined to succeed this time. I WILL succeed. Seeing the pounds drop off already is a great motivation. And while I know soon it will begin to slow, I look forward to celebrating each mini-goal on the way to my final goal.

I'm happy that you are willing to jump back in as opposed to never trying again. Great decision! Keep that positive outlook and you WILL succeed!!
