I have been on this site for a while but not a active member. 2010 was not the best year for me at all. The only two good things that happened was having my gorgeous daughter Olivia on January 5th (she is my third and final baby) and my best friend becoming cancer free.
Now for the bad things were my grandpa passing away in March, and then my grandma in September (both from cancer). Also in September I was in and out of the hospital with a major ear infection. I think I was in the hospital 6 times in the matter of 10 days. I was so swollen that it looked like I had shoved a baseball inside my cheek. Then in November my DH was told he would be losing one of his jobs (he works two so I can stay home with the kids), so that added a lot of stress. But on December 23rd he was told that he was able to keep his job, which was nice to hear.
Ok enough rambling. I have decided that January 1st is going to be my new start day. I am going to lose the weight that I have put on over the past 10 years. I am going to start walking on the treadmill everyday and drinking my water. I will be staying away from eating out and also staying away from pop, and the HARDEST one of all for me is going to be slushes. I am still going to get one a week instead of the 5+ I was getting, and I will also be getting a medium instead of XL.

We have forums by eating plan, by amount to lose (you might want to check out the 100 lb club, for those who are on their way to losing or who have lost 100 lbs or more), and by age range. So look around, find a spot or many that feels good, and get to posting.
