Well, still learning about it but it revolves round 'resistant starch', and getting some into every meal. Bananas, oatmeal, beans and lentils, potatoes, whole grain pasta, barley, brown rice, peas, rye and pumpernickel bread, polenta, potato chips. Each meal to have 1/4 plate of one of these, then the rest lean meat and veggies.
I don't suppose it's anything new to say "Eat a balanced meal" but the additional carbs are really helping my mood - no Black Pit for several days.
The 7-day kick-start is 1200 calories, and that's quite challenging after 1400.
I think concentrating on something new and different is really helping. 3.7lbs in 5 days is very encouraging though. I plan to stay on the 1200 for 30 days, which takes me to December 17th then eat back up to 1400 for over Christmas, and then think again.
The thing that's surprised me most of all is the lack of bloat - weird but wonderful!
Wow. What is there to say? You are doing splendidly. I love hearing of your new milestones. I love hearing of your tracking. I love hearing of your continuance to keep re-inventing your plan.
I love hearing of your success.
Looking forward to many more *success* posts in the near future.
